The Lord wants to ignite your experience in the classroom! He wants to infiltrate everything that you do. He will teach you things that you don’t know. He will shine the light of wisdom in places where you are lacking knowledge. You really lack nothing because God is our source and supply. Everything we need is found in Him. So whatever you may be struggling with, remember that all knowledge is found in Him. Educational discernment is a thing! I believe that Holy Spirit can give us discernment in the classroom and guide us in ways we could never imagine. Don’t forget that you are not alone!

Each month the faithfilled teacher devotional has a different focus for how we can delight in the Lord in 2023. There are so many advantages to delighting yourself in the Lord. One of those advantages is success in life and in the classroom. When you delight yourself in the Lord and stay plugged into Him, you set yourself up to be infiltrated with power, knowledge, understanding, and anointing that could otherwise not be achieved through your own physical resources and strength. So be the teacher who delights in the Lord. When you delight in Him, success in your classroom has to follow.

Let your actions and your words speak to who God is in your life. Your students need love and affection. Show them you care through your actions. Jesus had to depart from this Earth so that the teacher, Holy Spirit, could come and commune with us. The anointing of the Lord came upon you when you accepted Christ as your Savior. Ever since that day, you have been walking around with an immense amount of potential on the inside of you. You have the potential to teach beyond your means because you are empowered by the Lord. So stay connected to the power of God by spending time in the word, praying, fasting, and communicating with God. Know that His power is available to you anytime of the day and don’t think that this does not include your experience in the classroom. The Lord wants to empower you to be, more than just a mediocre teacher. The Lord wants to empower you to be excellent. So yes, teacher you should be teaching above your means. The great thing about it is that all of this is done through the power that works within us through Christ, our Lord. Glory to God!! Type amen if you agree that you are empowered to teach above your means.

Starting your day with prayer positions you for success in the classroom. Praying to the Lord before you teach helps you to align yourself with his Word and his Will. Praying doesn’t guarantee a perfect day, but puts you in position to perfectly handle whatever the day may bring. These are some quick prayers to pray before you enter the classroom. The Word of God gives us the best guidance to be victorious in this life and in the classroom. One of the benefits to being a child of God is PEACE. Peace in your mind. Peace in your classroom. Peace in your home. It BELONGS to you!!! Tag a teacher friend to give them this encouragement that you can have peace in the midst of any situation.

Be intentional with how you will nourish your spirit man. When the spirit man is fed well, the flesh and the mind must fall in line with the Spirit. Plan for how you will take care of yourself spiritually. Don’t leave your relationship with God to “whatever happens” or “I’ll get to it when I can”. Be focused and intentional. Remember, time spent with God is time well spent. Tag your teacher friends and share this great reminder.

There isn’t anything related to teaching that He won’t give you insight on. Never forget that you already have everything you need.
