Welcome to my space. I’m so glad you stopped by! My prayer is that you leave here feeling encouraged and inspired.

Let me guess. You’re probably a dedicated teacher who also has a HUGE heart for God. I can imagine you care deeply about your students and love on them just like they’re your own. You’ve had some amazing days in the classroom, and you’ve also probably had some days in the classroom when you needed a little encouragment.

I get it. Believe me, I do. Teaching is such a rewarding job, but let’s be honest, there are definitely those days.

Those days when you feel like quitting.

Those days when you feel like maybe you’re not cut out for this teaching thing.

Those days when you feel unappreciated.

Those days when it seems like your students aren’t understanding the concepts.

Those days when overwhelm rears its ugly head.

Those days when you wonder, am I doing enough?

Those days when remnants from struggles in your personal life cling to every thought during your school day

I get it. I’ve been there myself a time or two…or 10.

But…the great thing about all of those days is that you’re not alone.

On those days when these feelings come up, God is there.

He’s with you all the time.

Isn’t that cool? God is with you through every lesson, every instructional block, He’s there for it all.

And that’s why I started the The Faith-filled Teacher. I want to remind you that God wants to be a part of everything you do in your classroom. I want to encourage teachers to be strong in their faith.

A teacher who’s strong in their faith is a teacher who’s strong in the classroom. So again, welcome to my space. I hope you visit often and join me on this journey to excellence in and out of the classroom.

Before you go let me tell you a little about myself. My name’s Regina.

I’m in my 12th year of teaching. I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Reading. I’ve taught 1st, 3rd, and 4th grades and spent some time as a Reading Intervention Teacher and an ESOL teacher, which is my current position.

I’ve been walking with God since I was a little girl. I’ve been able to see God work in great ways in my life and I know first hand that He is real. (Can I get an Amen?)

Thank you so much for stopping by!
